Our commitment

VUXLORE® is committed to conducting business honestly, responsibly and with respect for human rights.

We have zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, child labour and other forms of exploitation within our business or supply chain.

Our business and supply chain

VUXLORE® develops tick-awareness resources and British-made tick-removal tools.

Our principal supply-chain activities include:

• Product design and development

• Plastic injection moulding and product assembly

• Printed carton and packaging manufacture

• Component and material sourcing

• Storage, fulfilment and delivery

• Website, technology and professional services

Our current product-manufacturing and printed-packaging relationships are based in the United Kingdom. Working directly with established UK suppliers gives us clearer communication and greater visibility of where and how our products and packaging are produced.

Supplier expectations

We expect suppliers and production partners to:

• Comply with all applicable labour, employment, equality, environmental and health-and-safety laws

• Prohibit slavery, forced labour, human trafficking and child labour

• Ensure that work is entered into voluntarily

• Provide lawful pay, working hours and working conditions

• Maintain a workplace free from harassment, abuse and unlawful discrimination

• Protect workers’ health and safety

• Conduct business honestly and avoid bribery and corruption

• Raise and address concerns involving human rights or worker welfare

• Apply appropriate standards within their own supply chains

Due diligence

Our approach is proportionate to the size and nature of our business. It includes maintaining direct relationships with principal suppliers, considering supplier location and production activities, reviewing publicly available policies and certifications, and requesting further information where a material risk or concern is identified.

We will give additional attention to changes involving new countries, unfamiliar intermediaries, less transparent supply chains or materials associated with elevated labour or environmental risks.

Reporting concerns

Anyone with information or a genuine concern about possible exploitation or unethical conduct connected with VUXLORE® or its supply chain is encouraged to contact us.

Concerns will be considered seriously and handled as confidentially as reasonably possible. We will not knowingly penalise a person for raising a genuine concern in good faith.

Responding to concerns

Where a credible concern is identified, we will seek further information and determine an appropriate response.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include requesting corrective action, seeking additional assurances, monitoring improvement or ending a supplier relationship when a serious issue cannot be satisfactorily resolved.

Training and continuing improvement

As the business grows, we will review whether additional supplier questionnaires, contractual requirements, staff guidance, risk assessments or performance measures are appropriate.

This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated when our business, supply chain or applicable guidance changes.
