When to contact your veterinary practice

Contact your vet if your cat seems unwell, shows changes in behaviour or appetite, develops discomfort, or if the bite area becomes increasingly sore, swollen or inflamed. Cats can be highly sensitive to some chemicals: never use a dog tick product on a cat; ask your veterinarian first.
